Two years ago, Malappuram FC officially began its journey, rooted in the passion and footballing culture of Malappuram. The club was formally launched at MSP Ground, Malappuram, in the presence of prominent dignitaries, including P. K. Kunhalikutty and M. A. Yousaf Ali, marking the beginning of a new chapter for football in the region. As one of the founding clubs of the Super League Kerala, Malappuram FC was created to give the region’s deep-rooted football passion a professional platform and a club to proudly call its own.
Since then, our journey has been shaped by memorable matches, victories, challenges and the unwavering support of our fans. More than results, these two years have been about building an identity, nurturing talent and creating a strong connection between the club and the community. At the heart of that journey are our supporters, whose energy, loyalty and passion have made every matchday a celebration.
The 2025 Super League Kerala season added another memorable chapter to our story. Malappuram FC secured a place in the semi-finals,John Kennedy finished the campaign as the league’s Golden Boot winner, highlighting his outstanding goalscoring contribution to the team. Off the pitch, our official fan group, Ultras Malappuram, was recognised with the Best Fan Club Award, a proud reflection of the passion, dedication and incredible support that our fans bring to every matchday.
As we mark our second anniversary, we look ahead to Super League Kerala Season 3 with renewed ambition and determination. With a stronger squad, a growing football family and the continued support of our supporters, we are ready to write the next chapter of our story. Two years have passed, but our journey is only beginning.
