As Malappuram FC celebrates its second anniversary and prepares for Super League Kerala Season 3, the club’s official supporters’ group, Ultras Malappuram, hosted a special ‘Meet the Players’ gathering at the team’s training base at Calicut University Stadium.
Around 200 official members came together to welcome the squad and show their support ahead of the new season. The players’ surprise entry was met with loud cheers and applause, setting the tone for an evening filled with interaction, conversations and memorable moments. Players, coaches and club management spent time with the supporters, taking part in an interactive session, photographs and the presentation of special mementos.
The occasion also marked the announcement of a new-season collaboration between Ultras Malappuram and Chicking India. As part of the partnership, holders of official Ultras membership cards will receive a 10% discount at all Chicking outlets. The gathering further provided an opportunity to share the club’s plans and ambitions for the upcoming campaign, with Head Coach Karim Bencherifa and Assistant Coach Chinta Chandrashekar emphasising the importance of the supporters’ continued backing. Technical Director Shareef Khan and Director – Operations & Marketing Danish Hydross also addressed the gathering.
For Malappuram FC, the evening was a celebration of the special bond between the club and its supporters. As Season 3 approaches, the club looks forward to carrying that connection, energy and collective ambition onto the pitch.
