New Squad, Coaching Staff and Home & Away Jerseys Unveiled
Malappuram Football Club officially began its journey towards Super League Kerala Season 3 with a grand launch event, ‘Meet & Greet with MFC’, held at the Dimora Hotel in Kozhikode. The evening brought together the club’s directors, promoters, sponsors, players, coaching staff, sporting personalities, celebrities and members of the media as the club unveiled its plans for the new season.
The event began on a solemn note as the gathering observed a minute’s silence in memory of late Calicut FC Club Secretary Bino Jose Eappen and Calicut FC player Rijon Jose, who recently passed away.
The official proceedings began with a special video showcasing Malappuram FC’s football journey and the club’s preparations for Season 3. Marketing & Operations Director Danish Hydross addressed the gathering, followed by a welcome address from Executive Director Ajmal Bismi.
The event was attended by Navas Meeran, President of the Kerala Football Association and Founder of Super League Kerala; former Indian international, former Malappuram FC captain and Sporting Director Anas Edathodika, who currently serves as Technical Director of Kerala Police FC; and A.P. Shoukath Ali IPS, Commissioner of Police, Kozhikode City.
Poland Moosa Joins Malappuram FC as Director
One of the key announcements of the evening was the appointment of Poland Moosa, Chairman of Fragrance World, as a Director of Malappuram FC.
He was welcomed on stage by the club’s Executive Directors Ashiq Kainikkara and Ajmal Bismi, along with promoters Jamsheed Lilly, Nabeel Neelambra, Reena Babu, Faisal Babu and Ahmad Remil.
Former Indian national netball captain and actress Prachi Tehlan presented a memento to Poland Moosa, who later addressed the gathering.
Season 3 Partners Officially Unveiled
The club also introduced its official sponsors and partners for the upcoming season, marking another important chapter in Malappuram FC’s growing commercial and community network.

The new partnerships add to the strong support surrounding Malappuram FC as the club prepares for its third Super League Kerala campaign.
The Season 3 Squad Takes Centre Stage
The evening then moved to the official launch of the Malappuram FC Season 3 squad.
Head Coach Karim Bencherifa was welcomed to the stage, with actor Irshad Ali presenting him with a special memento. The club’s technical staff and Season 3 players were subsequently introduced one by one, giving the gathering its first official look at the squad preparing for the new campaign.
As part of the celebrations, Poland Moosa and the Fragrance Avenue team presented special Fragrance Avenue perfumes to the players and coaching staff.
The newly assembled squad and coaching staff then joined the club’s directors, promoters, sponsors, Prachi Tehlan and Irshad Ali for a special group photograph.
New Home & Away Jerseys Unveiled
The launch also featured the unveiling of Malappuram FC’s new Home and Away jerseys for Season 3.
Danish sportswear brand hummel will continue its association with Malappuram FC as the club’s Kit Partner for a third consecutive season.
The new collection features an orange Home jersey and a blue Away jersey, bringing a fresh look to the team ahead of the new campaign.
The jerseys were officially unveiled by A.P. Shoukath Ali IPS, Commissioner of Police, Kozhikode City, actor Irshad Ali and Prachi Tehlan.
During the ceremony, Malappuram FC Executive Director Ashiq Kainikkara presented a memento to A.P. Shoukath Ali IPS.
A New Chapter Begins
With a new squad, a new coaching setup, fresh partnerships and new jerseys, Malappuram FC has officially opened the next chapter of its Super League Kerala journey.
The evening concluded with live music by Afnan and a DJ performance by DJ Shinoy, adding to the celebrations and setting the tone for the season ahead.
