Malappuram FC regrets to announce that midfielder Bujair V sustained a collarbone injury during our Super League Kerala (SLK) match against Kannur Warriors FC. Following the incident, he underwent several scans that indicated the need for surgery. We are pleased to confirm that the surgery was successful; however, he will require an extended period away from competitive play for a full recovery. Unfortunately, this injury will rule him out for the remainder of the season.
The club will consult with medical professionals to determine the best course of action for his rehabilitation.
